Reporting to the Brand Media Director, you will help develop and implement world class media strategies for YETI. You will help architect and drive the tactical, dynamic and responsive initiatives that power our brand media schemes. You will develop and lead collaborations with external partners, as you seek to communicate opportunity for the brand marketing and creative teams. And provide the sharp analysis that will inform our planning cycles.

You will work cross functionally, partnering with Product category Marketers, Community leaders, Creative teams, Communications and earned Media functions. Most critically, you will be the day-to-day engine of the media team, identifying and captaining the resources needed to execute plans.

Responsibilities:

• Provide guidance, analysis and sharp thinking to the dynamic media needs of the business
• Build powerful internal relationships with community and content teams here at YETI. Be a tireless advocate for media growth and inclusion.
• Build campaigns, launch innovations, own holidays and seize brand moments with your savvy strategic work
• Guide the relationship with external media agencies and be prudent with operational and financial conversations, including spend recommendations, agency billing, reconciliations, etc.
• Partner with sales channels (specifically eComm), Global, and Regional counterparts to bring brand stories to life through a consumer journey that is informed by consumer behavior, partner/platform insights, data, and reporting
• Serve and maintain partnerships with major social media platforms and digital titans, testing new platform capabilities and opportunities, staying up to date on evolving digital landscape and best practices
• Serve the wholesale needs of the business
• Help steer and fulfill brand correct media investments - bridge the worlds of high touch, analog opportunity with the virtual, expansive possibilities available to the brand
• Establish consistency across multiple digital channels while identifying opportunities to expand YETI's voice and story
• Work closely with the Campaign and Production Teams to execute and scale all marketing and advertising efforts
• Be the guardian of all assets sent into the ether on behalf of media fulfillment

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Bachelor's Degree required
• At least 6 years of media strategy experience at a consumer brand or media agency
• Experience with industry trends and innovation in media, tracking, analytics and research
• Experience working in cross functional and complex organizations where influence as well as direct responsibility matter in equal measure
• Experience utilizing data and analytics to influence, define and drive short and long term goals
• Highly organized and detail oriented with good project management skills. Able to juggle multiple, and sometimes, conflicting priorities and needs
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Self-driven leader able to work in a fast moving, ever-changing cross-functional team environment
• Proactive in nature and driven to act with a sense of urgency; able to work well under pressure and with demanding deadlines
• A global mind-set with a keen interest to help launch the YETI brand globally
• Strong collaboration and influence skills; able to build effective relationships with stakeholders across organizational levels

This position is based at YETI's HQ in Austin, Texas, and relocation support will be offered to selected candidate.
