Rheumatology

Our practice is housed in Cooley Dickinson's multispecialty medical facility located at 22 Atwood Drive, Suite 203 in Northampton, MA. Diagnosis is a crucial element of every medical specialty, but especially in the discipline of rheumatology. Symptoms that include pain and swelling can be present in the course of numerous conditions including gout, osteoporosis and various forms of arthritis, but the best treatments for each can vary widely depending on the underlying cause of the illness. Increasingly, rheumatology has become a study of the immune system, as more and more of the conditions it strives to treat are linked to autoimmune diseases like lupus, fibromyalgia and psoriasis, which can all cause painful inflammation in joints and connective tissues.

Cooley Dickinson Medical Group Rheumatology treats patients with many rheumatologic diagnoses, including the following conditions:

  • Arthritis
  • Osteoporosis
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Gout
  • Autoimmune diseases such as lupus, scleroderma, and vasculitis
In-office procedures that we perform include:
  • Joint Drainage
  • Steroid Injection
  • Trigger Point Injection
  • Viscosupplementation with Hyaluronate
Are you ready to bring your talent to this practice and join us in moving health care forward?
