Summary

Full Time with Benefits at our Main Campus, we offer 50% off the MBTA pass. Shifts are Generally days, with rotation to other shifts, could include holidays or weekends, as needed by department, 40 hours per week.

The Generalist medical technologist will work in Chemistry/Hematology/Coag/UA. Rapid Microbiology and planting, Some phlebotomy.

Must have at least 3 years generalist experience as a medical technologist.

The Generalist Medical Technologist utilizes manual, semi manual or automated procedures to perform all assigned laboratory procedures. Uses standard operating procedure to provide accurate results within expected time period. Conducts maintenance on instruments; performs appropriate quality control for assigned testing. Interfaces with laboratory customers in order to report results; frequently exercises independent judgment.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Medical Technologist preferred, BS, MT (ASCP) or MLT (ASCP)
• AMT also acceptable with Bachelor's degree in medical technology.
• Must have at least 3 years generalist experience as a med tech.
