Our Client is seeking a Mid-Level BA w/SQL in Richmond, VA.

Role Description

We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience serving as a liaison between business units and technology teams to determine database requirements for imaging applications, define processes, identify process improvement opportunities and implement and test new functionality for imaging systems.
• Work as a liaison between developers and court analysts to determine new application requirements and to support existing applications.
• Provide second-level support for in-depth research, troubleshooting and support on existing applications.
• Interface with colleagues and stakeholders to gain an in-depth understanding of critical business requirements as well as create and run reports for research and process improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders across business units to develop business and functional documentation in a collaborative manner, communicating these effectively and efficiently with project teams. Evaluate, analyze, and communicate systems requirements on a continuing basis, and maintain systems processes.
• Author and update internal and external documentation, and formally initiate and deliver requirements and documentation.
• Provide innovative thinking to provide technical guidance concerning business implications of application development projects.

Skills & Requirements

• 2+ years of business analyst experience.
• Must have experience working with SQL queries.
• Experience on medium to large scale projects as well as handling day-to-day operational requests.
• Good project management skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks at any given point.
• Strong relationship building skills.
• Strong analytical skills, with ability to understand business procedures.
• Strong communication skills, including presentation skills.
• Good problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Prior experience with court documents and processing very beneficial.
