RESPONSIBILITIES:

Kforce has a client that is seeking a NG911 Specialist ESiNET in Brooklyn, NY.Summary:The Specialist ESiNET SP3 will be responsible for performing the ESiNET integration tasks necessary for deploying all the relevant NG9-1-1 ESiNET technologies such as VOIP, SIP, digital voice, and common network technologies.Scope of Services:

• Specialist will provide descriptive Network details of the ESiNET infrastructure for the PSAP
• Identify the standards-based NG9-1-1 core functionality
• Participate Class 1 ESiNET network breakout session meetings to define ESiNET architecture between PSAC1 and PSAC2 per NENA/APCO standards
• Produce ESiNET Core Services device configuration templates for all ESiNET components
• As a Specialist, you will manage the configuration and deployment of all the ESiNET network technology
• Develop OSP connectivity best practices into the PSAPs and review and approve all vendor designs ensuring compliance with standards and governance models established by the client

Schedule:

• Normal business hours Monday-Friday 35 hour/week (not including mandatory unpaid meal break after 6 hours of work); If more than 35 hours/week, consultant must request OT in agency's timekeeping system and the PM must approve hours worked above the weekly max

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 12 years of experience in a particular technical and/or business application, product, platform, methodology or skill set
• Minimum 12 years of experience VIOP/Standard PBX Voice
• Minimum 12 years of experience as a lead Engineer in the network technology domain
• Experience in methods and best practices in detailed engineering in voice and network development

Desirable Skills:

• A Subject Matter Expert in Enterprise Integration and design of Mission Critical 9-1-1 systems is a plus
• Excellent communication and clear business writing skills as well as interpersonal skills
• Organization, creativity, flexibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
• CCIE certification or equivalent network system integration experience
• A good understanding of Oracle SBC and B2BUA configurations and reference architectures
• Knowledge of Legacy E9-1-1 and NG9-1-1 technologies and standards such as NENA i3
• Experience Firewall technology particularly Palo Alto Networks is a plus
