Our client, a leading manufacturer of quality roofing materials has an immediate opening for a North American Finance Manager to join their Wilmington, DE team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a family owned and operated business that operates on a global scale.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
  • Coordinate the delivery of all monthly and quarterly financial reporting for assigned business units as well monthly operational reporting, meeting critical deadlines, to support our Operations management teams
  • Preparation of quarterly reporting package for presentation to the Board and senior management
  • Working with the NA Controller, oversee and guide overall accounting practices to ensure consistency
  • Pursue continuous improvement in operational and financial reporting, analysis, commentary, scorecards, dashboards, KPI's etc. while ensuring data integrity
  • Correlate monthly operations data (i.e. production metrics) to financial data (costs and profit) to highlight the opportunity costs of production deficiencies
  • Provide mentoring and professional / personal growth opportunities to develop team
  • Provide financial expertise and support to other functional areas of the business as needed
  • Assist plant management teams with the development of annual plans and standard costing
  • Actively participate on cross functional project teams
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business or Accounting preferred;
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment preferred;
  • A minimum of 5 years of progressive management experience with a proven collaborative team management style preferred;
  • Professional accounting designation (CPA, CGA or CMA) preferred;
  • JD Edwards/Oracle Enterprise One experience preferred, ERP experience required
  • Advanced Excel/PowerPoint user
  • Understanding of Accounting principles under IFRS & thorough understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Experience with budget/plan development and reporting
