Position Summary
Responsible for providing administrative support to the Plant Manager at our Brighton and Milliken, CO locations. Manage all daily, weekly and monthly administrative functions, oversee general accounting, and conduct financial analysis.

Requirements

  • Perform duties related to the following: computerized records maintenance, office management, accounts payable/receivable, cash reconciliations, truck scale and rail sales/shipping documentation, general ledger, production, finished goods/parts/supplies inventories, purchasing, and preparation of government and other regulatory reports as required.
  • This position is the face of both operations (Riverbend & Platte), and the position will need to provide customer service to customers, customer truck drivers, vendors, visitors, and other Company employees.
  • Create and inspire an atmosphere of teamwork with administrative and management staff.
  • Assist coordinating various Human Resource functions to include: safety communications, performance and recognition records, personnel and training records, and payroll and timekeeping systems.
  • Assist in preparation of any reports and statistics reflecting earnings, profitability, budgeting, forecasting, and other financial and variance results analysis. Implement and maintain administrative procedures and internal controls in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with month end close
  • Enter receipts from Riverbend and Platte operations
  • Clear the AP invoices on hold
  • Prepare monthly GL reconciliations
  • Assist with monthly forecast
  • Help maintain SOX compliance
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • 5+ years' experience in office management (mining or manufacturing/industrial facility a plus)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated; able to work independently
  • Highly proficient in MS programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Proficient accounting knowledge and skills
  • Solid negotiation and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills; capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Able to communicate effectively with both internal employees and external vendors and customers
Compensation & Benefits
We are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $50,500 - $69,500, exclusive of benefits or bonuses (discretionary and non-discretionary). The offered base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Martin Marietta we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the compensation for those in similarly situated roles and direct team members. The posted range for this role represents the total reasonable pay range and does not solely represent a hiring range. Therefore, hiring at the top or maximum of the range should not be expected as it would not allow for salary growth opportunities in the role, would diminish promotion value, and may not align with internal equity.
