Mercer Health and Benefits is seeking candidates for the following position to support our West Zone (AZ, CA, CO, OR, UT, WA). This opportunity is open for full time remote work location.

Operations Analyst

We will count on you to:
  • Set up, renew, and track policies, projects, and codes in a timely manner
  • Review transparency compliance/required documents as needed
  • Analyze expected commission variances to actual cash receipts and investigate to resolve all large variance issues
  • Review and adjust commission forecasts as needed
  • Monitor unresolved cash receipt applications and work to keep the suspense account balance low
  • Assist with fee account work in progress management and billing
  • Provide ad hoc reporting to Consultants (i.e. commission/ACF reporting / client revenue reporting / detail billing)

What you need to have:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience with billing and invoicing
  • Intermediate to advance proficiency in Excel - spreadsheets, pivot tables, etc.
  • Good interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple tasks
  • Attention to detail to ensure accuracy

  • Background in finance and/or forecasting
  • Experience working with health and benefits insurance
  • Experience working with billing systems

The applicable base salary range for this role is $50,400 to $100,800.

The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
