Education: Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or related behavioral health field

Experience: Two years of direct clinical practice experience working with behavioral health populations in an inpatient or outpatient setting. Preference for working in enhanced services environment serving IOP/PHP patients preferred.

One year of program and/or service management experience working in Outpatient clinical multidisciplinary teams preferred. Clinical training in evidenced-based treatment modalities including individual, group and family interventions. One year of clinical supervisory experience in an inpatient or outpatient setting, preferred.

Certification/License: Full clinical licensure required (LCSW, LPC, or MFT)

Job Summary (Staff training and supervision):

  • Provides clinical supervision and/or support for staff focused on ethical principles of quality care for patients, creating a safe environment to address mental health and substance abuse challenges.
  • Participates in evaluation of program services to enhance patient outcomes and acts as a positive change agent to implement clinical initiatives to increase quality patient care.
  • Effectively communicates with staff, patients and community partners.
  • Participates in the review of clinical issues and program policies and procedures.
  • Maintains a safe and efficient working and treatment environment per facility program & policies and procedures.
  • Attends staff meetings as required.
  • Participates in and coordinates training sessions and workshops related to Evidence-Based Practices.
  • Maintains current knowledge base on counseling practices regarding mental health and substance use disorders.
  • Actively participates in the Performance Improvement and Risk Management programs.
