Your Role:

The Packaging Operator will be responsible for the process packaging of orders of manufactured chemicals by coordinating the activities of the site planner, operations supervisor, and shipping department to ensure a high level of customer service. Your duties will include receiving material that has cleared final quality inspection, prepared the appropriate packaging container(s), and filled the prepared containers according to the required configuration. You will be responsible for the final labeling of packaged products before transferring them to the shipping department and are accountable for the accuracy, cleanliness, and on-time completion of your orders. You will be expected to complete detail-oriented paperwork and computer transactions to support packaging and ERP systems and to uphold our high-quality standard throughout all operations. In addition to the packaging responsibilities, you will be expected to maintain and ensure the accuracy of departmental SOPs as well as maintain proper inventory, organization, and cleanliness of the packaging department.

Physical Attributes:

  • Ability to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Ability to bend/twist at the neck, shoulders, back, and waist
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
Who You Are

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience with chemical handling
  • Experience with ISO 9001 or other quality management systems in a high-precision chemical or manufacturing environment
