Parking Enforcement Officer (Multiple Positions Available) 

Enforcement officers are front line ambassadors for the department and the university and maintain the orderly and safe use of parking resources on campus through educational and enforcement activities. Accurately Issue citations to vehicles parked in violation of University of Tennessee parking regulations.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Education: ·         A high school diploma or equivalent is required. ·         Basic computer training is essential for this position since citations are issued with handheld computers.Experience: ·         A thorough knowledge and understanding of parking policies and regulations is required. In addition, enforcement officers must have a thorough knowledge of the physical layout of campus. They must have excellent customer service skills and be able to independently handle a situation with an irate customer without escalating the conflict.

Job Requirements:

·         Valid Tennessee Driver’s License. ·         General working knowledge of mechanical equipment and tools. ·         Ability to work as a team. ·         Good verbal and written communication skills. ·         High School Diploma.
