Housing Operations supports the on-campus housing and dining for over 12,000 students. We strive to create life-changing experiences by building relationships, developing others, and creating a sense of belonging for our students, their families, and the IU community.

Job Summary
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Assists designers.
- Helps with Furniture Fixtures and Equipment selection. Surveys spaces.
- Files and organizes sample library.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required
- Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University
- Currently a Junior or Senior Interior Design major within the Eskenazi School of Art, Architecture and Design
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATES
Preferred- Possess a valid driver's license with the ability to be insured by Indiana University
SKILLS
Required
- Proficient communication skills
- Demonstrates proficiency with Auto CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software
- Demonstrates a high commitment to quality
Preferred- Proficient with Adobe Photoshop
Working Conditions / DemandsThis role frequently requires the ability to handle equipment. This role frequently requires the ability to remain stationary and ascend/descend ladders/stairs. This role requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 30 pounds.

Advertised Salary$12.00 per hour.
