The Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education oversees programs and initiatives in support of outstanding academic experiences for all IU Bloomington undergraduate students. It provides advising, testing, and enrichment resources for students at all stages and leads initiatives that assess, support, and improve undergraduate teaching and learning.

Job Summary
Indiana University's Office of the Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education is seeking a part-time graduate student for hourly work in support of the planning and execution of a program designed to improve undergraduate student success at the course and program levels of IUB.
Department-Specific Responsibilities
- Collaborates with both local and national scholars about their teaching, learning and student success research projects.
- Writes news releases.
- Creates new website material.
- Disseminates research results, and maintains several databases.
- Encouraged to attend and assist in all programing meetings and events and to support student success initiatives on campus whenever needed.
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- Currently enrolled as a graduate student at Indiana University
SKILLS
Required
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Self-motivated and the ability to think analytically
- Background and interest in teaching, learning and student success practices and theories
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, educational research methods and the ability to work with qualitative and quantitative data
Preferred- Familiarity with: Salesforce, WCMS, Airtable, Qualtrics, and Canvas
Additional InformationThis position does not offer fee remission

Advertised Salary$15.00 an hour
Work Hours10-12 hours per week throughout the academic year, including the summer semesters.
