Job Summary
Department Specific Responsibilities
- Co-supervised by the Residence Life Coordinators-Student Development(s) (RLC-SD) and Residence Life Coordinators-Operations (RLC-O) working in the building assigned
- Assists the RLC-O in importing rosters into our conference software
- Provides support to the center desk outside of regular business hours (weekends and evenings)
- Trained extensively in Iris Front Desk, Iris Coordinator, CS Gold and other applications
- Will assist the RLC-O with conference rosters and attends select handoff meetings
- Troubleshoots technology issues outside of regular business hours and be present at check-ins
- Serves in an elevated on-call capacity for the Conference Assistants for the building(s) assigned
- Assists in scheduling the Conference Assistants and Center Desk Assistant for desk shifts, check-ins, and check-outs
- Provides excellent customer service to our guests
QualificationsEDUCATION
Required- Currently enrolled as a student at Indiana University Bloomington
WORK EXPERIENCE
Preferred- Previous experience as a summer staff member

Working Conditions / DemandsThe person in this role must be able to navigate assigned buildings for tours and crisis response. The person in this role must be able to move items up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
Additional InformationIt is a condition of employment for applicant of this position SCA to live on-site in housing provided by Indiana University

Single room in center of employment and summer meal plan included
Note: Priority consideration will be given to people who have held previous employment with Residential Programs and Services, especially as a CA or SCA, to support the high level of responsibility the position entails

Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 10:00 pm
