Summary

Directs the overall policies, objectives, and initiatives of the business service activities; ensures that clinical revenue cycle is effective and properly utilized; provides general oversight for Hospital clinic and physician office functions that contribute to the billing, collection, and reporting of patient service revenue.

Required Qualifications

* High School Diploma or general educational development (GED) equivalent* Three (3) years relevant healthcare patient accounting and/or collections experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Relevant experience in healthcare billing and coding; work record that demonstrates in-depth knowledge of hospital and physician billing, coding, and reimbursement; knowledge of medical terminology; negotiating skills, and knowledge of healthcare industry financial statistical information.* Experience in a University and/or Healthcare setting; knowledge of generally accepted Academic Medical Group or medical group management principles and theories.
