Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring a PeopleSoft Functional Analyst. This is a direct, full-time position with our company, supporting our customer in Washington DC (remote performance available). Must possess a Secret clearance to qualify for this position.

Position Overview:

The PeopleSoft Functional Analyst supports Production operations and maintenance. The functional analyst will work with business users to document existing and desired business processes, develop functional and system requirements, perform testing of delivered code, and document operational procedures. The ideal candidate will be able to support the following functions:

  • Analyze business requirements and assist with configuring the PeopleSoft HRMS application to meet continuing HR needs
  • Meet with HR systems owners and end users to define business requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve business systems issues
  • Research questions involving functionality in various versions and modules of PeopleSoft
  • Document the functionality of the current and future system through various information gathering techniques
  • Support the design process and work with technical personnel to identify specific system requirements
  • Create Change Requests (CR) that provides specifications, diagrams and/or charts to the application developers
  • Review and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of our PeopleSoft HRMS application and other applications, and develop strategies for improving or further leveraging these systems
  • Analyze and present data and reports to the appropriate area of expertise, identifying errors and advising on solutions
  • Coordinate activities simultaneously for multiple projects
  • Perform system testing of PeopleSoft HRMS application and other applications as needed
  • Provide support for testing and training activities for modified and new systems

Required Qualification:

  • Current Secret (or Interim Secret) clearance
  • 2+ years PeopleSoft HRMS 9 or higher
  • 2+ years Human Resources knowledge
  • 1+ years Oracle PeopleSoft Federal HCM experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Understand and document business processes
  • Gap analysis and develop solutions
  • Ability to interpret business requirements into system designs
  • Develop and write system requirements
  • Write and execute test plans
  • Apply core SDLC principles
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a systems development-related area of study
  • Oracle PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) certification
  • Federal HR processing experience
  • SDLC knowledge and experience

Washington, DC 20037 (remote performance available)

Clearance Requirement:

Must possess a Secret (or Interim Secret) security clearance.

Working Environment & Conditions:

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
