Perpetual Inventory Supervisor

We are searching for an experienced Perpetual Inventory Supervisor for our Store Support Center, located at 600 Citadel Drive, Commerce, CA 90040.

The Perpetual Inventory Supervisor ensures the integrity of perpetual inventory in stores for non-perishable categories. They will be responsible for supervising the perpetual inventory program and processes by monitoring store performance, training store users, and helping identify and correct global issues. They will work closely with the store management team, primarily the inventory manager and the district leadership, to ensure the perpetual inventory SOP is consistently followed.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or required:

• Maintains the integrity of inventory for all perpetual inventory managed items, including receiving integrity.
  
• Validates reports by identifying issues and determining corrective action to ensure accurate inventory.Provides direction to store management on corrective action to be taken.
  
• Provides hands-on training for the store management team, such as the timing of activities, updating on hand quantities and inventory management
• Directs the Store Management team in the proper presentation of shelf stock and off-shelf displays by adjusting and maintaining minimum presentations due to size, display capabilities, and product mix
  
• Executes random audits throughout the store to identify and correct store operational issues and errors
  
• Monitors KPI's in the Perpetual Inventory Dashboard to ensure proper system usage by store personnel and follow up directly with the store as needed
  
• Through various reports, reviews data and monitors anomalies in inventory level.Provides recommendations for correction action on store specific and companywide issues
  
• Identifies issues and provide insight to Data, Category Managers, and Merchandising to update system data concerns such as products, item authorizations, vendors, and schematics
  
• Provides regular updates to Regional VP, District Manager, and Assistant District Manager on perpetual inventory issues and any additional training needs
  
• Works closely with Supply Chain to identify and correct mispicks, missing pallets or set up pallet concerns.
  
  

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• One year store or corporate operations experience
  
• Microsoft Office knowledge required
  
• Retail Management Certificate, a plus
  
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus

• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret, technical procedures, regulations and trends.
  
• Must have the ability to read and write and business correspondence, reports, diagrams and memos.
  
• Ability to effectively give and take directions; present information and respond to questions from managers, employees, customers and vendors.
  
• Must be self-motivated.
  
• Must be able to effectively manage data entry in multiple systems.
  
• Must be willing to travel on short notice for extended periods of time.

COMPENSATION: The starting salary for this position is $66,560.00. The actual starting pay will be determined by a number of qualifications; including, experience and relevant skills.
