The Physician - Gastroenterologist - LaGrange, GA is a proactive member of an interdisciplinary team of licensed and unlicensed care givers who ensure that patients, families and significant others receive individualized high quality, safe patient care. It is expected that all RN Clinical Nurses - are licensed, knowledgeable and uphold the practice of nursing as outlined by the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and implements the Scope of Practice and Code of Ethics Standards put forth by the American Nurses Association.

Facility: Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center

WellStar Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established team in LaGrange, Georgia. In addition to caring for patients in the office, the physician will have the opportunity to provide in-patient consults and procedures at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center, a 276-bed hospital, adjacent to the outpatient practice setting.

Required Minimum Education

• An MD or DO Degree Required
• Applicants must be licensed or eligible for a license in the State of Georgia
• Applicants must have completed the necessary Residency and/or Fellowship training requisite for their given specialty and be Certified or qualified for Certification by their respective specialty Board Required

Required Minimum Experience

• Previous practice experience in a Residency or Fellowship Training Program Required

Required Minimum Skills

• It is expected that applicants will possess skills commensurate with their given specialty.
• Applicants will be expected to show proof of competency for clinical skills applied for.
