Pricing Analyst

POSITION SUMMARY

The pricing analyst performs critical analyses to aid in protecting Vertiv margins. They work with a team to analyze market opportunities and interact with the salesforce and offering teams to properly price Vertiv quotes. They will also strive to maximize the amount of additional price attained for each opportunity and enforce pricing policies.

This role is responsible for price in North America with a focus on AC Power, Thermal, and Integrated Rack Solutions products. They also interface with peers in the DC Power & LATAM areas of the Americas as well as pricing peers in other regions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Generating profitability analyses for potential sales opportunities
• Negotiating the best price with the sales team, based on the completed analysis
• Drive increased pricing realization
• Summarizing opportunity details for management to review and make educated decision
• Recording the opportunity details and the received approvals into Smartsheet.
• Perform ad-hoc analyses for Management

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preferred or similar work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Finance, Analytics, Pricing (preferred), or related experience
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Basic Excel knowledge
• Ability to work and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Training will be provided as necessary
