Responsibilities

How Will You Contribute to the Company?

We have an excellent opportunity for a Principal Engineer in Software Engineering who has hands-on industry experience in building UI/UX for security analytics products or services and will help us innovate our user experience and user interfaces. In this role, you will be a technical lead for a dynamic team and participate in defining and executing GUI features. You will be interacting and working closely with the finest engineering and product management team in the industry, and you will find the work is fun, challenging, cutting-edge, and innovative.

What Will You Do?

• Both a hands-on and strategic role that drives solution architecture that aligns with both business and technology strategies
• Architect technology platforms that are highly scalable, and responsive and serve as a foundation for building key enterprise components
• Lead the GUI design and userexperience of various security analytics features
• Work with UX and Product to define the approach and best practice
• Guide UI engineers and write beautiful and scalable applications
• Support, maintain, and document software functionality
• Collaborate across multi-site software service teams and provide expertise and best practices

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent qualifications
• Five to seven (5-7+) years of experienceleading the development of UI/UX in a security analytics platform
• Experience in designing and articulating user experience using mockups or other tools to help GUI development
• Experience and knowledge in one or more Client-side frameworks along with JavaScript, Typescript, HTML, and CSS
• Well-versed with Coding standards, Code coverage, Unit tests, and automation
• Experience defining and delivering features against business objectives
• Experience partnering with product, contributing to product strategy, and instilling a customer-focused mindset in the organization

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of Ember
• Experience with AWS technologies, docker, Kubernetes, micro-services architecture, and CI/CD processes
• Located in Los Gatos, CA
