Principal Software Engineer *Job Title:* Principal Software Engineer
*Location:* Cambridge, MA
*Salary:* $140K-180K+ DOE

Headquartered just outside of Boston, we are a BioTechnology company with a focus on genome editing. Our mission is to positively change the lives of individuals who are battling life threatening diseases by developing and editing treatments.

What You Will Be Doing As a Principal Software Engineer, you will be responsible for storing and monitoring all our experimental data of different genomic tests that our teams perform.
- Work cross functionally with scientists and other software teams
- Resolve problems that are Tech related (methods, processes, procedures, etc.)
- Convert compounds, samples, and sequencing runs into relational data models
- Engage with stakeholders about future deployments, updates, etc.
- Perform other tasks as needed
What You Need for this Position Requirements:
- 7+ years Software Engineering experience
- Experience within a BioTech, Pharma, or Life Science environment
- Strong background of Next Generation Sequencing
- Proficient with a main programming language (Python, Java, etc.)
- Experience leading a team of at least 3 people
- Strong understanding of building APIs
- Must be willing to come on site to our office 1-3 times a quarter
