Cumulus Media-Albuquerque has an immediate opening for a FT Producer for 96.3 News Radio KKOB. Our ideal candidate should possess an extremely good work ethic, be a self-starter, and be highly organized with the ability to work in a fast paced environment. The position requires extreme reliability and flexibility. We are looking for someone who is a fast learner familiar with audio equipment and automation, has a good demeanor around others and a passion for radio.

CUMULUS | Albuquerque, NM currently features 7 stations including heritage News Radio KKOB, KTBL The Pit, KNML The Sports Animal, KRST-FM, KOBQ-FM, KDRF-FM, and KMGA-FM. The cluster of 7 stations reaches thousands of listeners on a daily basis.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications/Key Responsibilities:

• Previous radio experience is required
• Previous board operation experience preferred
• Audio production skills preferred
• Familiar with FCC rules and regulations and EAS guidelines
• Proficient using computer systems such as Microsoft Office, Automation systems like OpX, Adobe Audition or other audio editing and automation programs
• Familiar with audio mixers and remote monitoring systems for radio transmissions
• Flexibility in scheduling required
• Running the board in a radio station control room broadcasting live, local and syndicated radio programs
• Playing all commercials as scheduled and maintaining a commercial and transmitter log
• Monitor the technical quality and accuracy of incoming and outgoing on-air programming from control room
• Assist with adjusting signal and programming content to ensure transmission meets federally mandated broadcast standards
