Local Unit & Position Description

Our Digital Solutions team is seeking a Product Manager - Synergi Electric.

This role has the ability to function as a hybrid role.

What you'll do

  • Reports to the Electric Grid Product Line Director
  • Understand what software should be built and delivered to customers and why from a business and technical perspective
  • Convey customer needs into a product roadmap including high level requirements for the "What and Why"
  • Agree with Product Centre development team on "how" (time and budget) to build new features or initiatives
  • Own the product(s) roadmap and high-level backlog of the Synergi Electric software package
  • Close collaboration with Product Centre to ensure the implementation of the backlog and new initiatives
  • Close collaboration with customer facing functions (Regional BD, Regional Sales & Consulting) to take new products to the market
  • Responsible for customer journey, value proposition
  • Responsible for customer feedback loop closing for respective product(s)
  • Responsible for stakeholder communication and feedback
  • Provide input to product line marketing and communication plans
  • Ensure product(s) meet quality and information security requirements
  • Drive revenue growth through clear product strategies and market knowledge
Position Qualifications

What is required
  • Masters degree
  • Degree focused on Electrical Engineering - Power Systems Planning is a plus
  • Knowledge of power system planning software, preferably Synergi Electric
  • Strong background in the utility industry, including a minimum of 5+ years as an internal employee performing engineering planning functions
  • Ability to work well and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Strong communication skills including public speaking
  • Ability to build and maintain excellent relationships, both internally and externally
  • Willingness to travel globally and interact with customers (20%)
  • Proven ability to craft, communicate and drive multi-year strategic plans for the advancement of software
  • Working knowledge of Software Product Management concepts
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Pre-employment drug and background screening
