What you will be doing:

As a Program Manager on the Product Line Support team at Helen of Troy, you will play a crucial role in managing and improving continuous improvement projects within our Beauty & Wellness sector. Your focus will be on optimizing existing consumer wellness, beauty products, and medical devices, taking part in process and product improvements.

  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and external partners
  • Participate in the planning and execution of continuous improvement projects, collaborating with Marketing, Finance, Sourcing, and Manufacturing departments
  • Participate in initiatives sought at improving technical performance, conducting feasibility assessments, and driving cost efficiency
  • Support projects focused on the optimization of existing products and processes, aligning with strategic objectives and compliance standards
  • Assist in maintaining regulatory compliance, including the upkeep of Design History Files and adherence to standards like ETL, UL, FDA, and ISO 13485
  • Engage in process improvements and participate in team development activities under the mentorship of senior management


Skills needed to be successful in this role:
  • Experience in balancing multiple projects, ideally with a focus on product and process optimization
  • Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a similar subject area
  • 3+ years of experience in project management
  • Knowledge of regulatory standards relevant to the industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools like Microsoft Project or Smartsheet
  • Authorization to work in the United States on a full-time basis.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in a product line support or continuous improvement context within consumer goods or regulated industries.
