Overview

We are seeking a Program Manager I or Program Manager II, Social Media and Digital Marketing to help us fulfill our mission of helping people achieve education and workplace success. This is a remote position.

The Program Manager I or Program Manager II for Social Media and Digital Marketing leads organic social media and digital marketing programs that innovate digital advertising campaigns, increase brand awareness, expand social engagement, and optimize demand and lead generation efforts across all market segments. The position engages and retains followers while converting them into leads, customers, and promoters of ACT. This creative leader is highly skilled in social media marketing, while also leveraging best practices and innovative approaches to building and converting a digital audience.

What you will be working on:

  • Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies and content editorial calendar
  • Measure, analyze and report performance of all digital and social campaigns and assess and report against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Manage community management practices across multiple brand verticals and audiences
  • Monitor competitor and influencer profiles across all platforms
  • Expand ACT' s social media profiles and presence (e.g., including Facebook, Twitter, Google, TikTok, Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube etc.) and build communities to drive traffic to the website
  • Design, build and maintain our SEO, SEM, social content and social media presence on appropriate platforms
  • Ability to support digital marketing, including SEM, social media, and display advertising strategies with campaigns to support demand and lead generation, brand awareness and social engagement
  • Use critical thinking skills to ensure that all social media and advertising programs target the right audiences with the right messages at the right time and do not conflict with similar programs
  • Use strong analytical ability to evaluate and optimize social media performance across multiple advertising and social media channels and digital touch points
  • Deliver clear, concise, and effective market- and audience-specific content appropriate for targeted networks to reach existing and new customers and audiences
  • Plan, execute, and measure digital advertising and organic social media experiments and conversion tests
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize performance based on the insights
  • Monitor social media and digital marketing industry trends and innovate new strategies, tactics, and channels to position ACT as a leader in social media and digital marketing

This could be the job for you if you have (minimum requirements):
  • Uses data to inform strategy and tactical execution; revises tactics based on analytics
  • Proficiency in paid marketing channels and technologies (e.g., paid search, social network advertising, etc.)
  • Effective personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices
  • Excellent communicator, creative thinker, and influencer
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Demonstrated creativity and experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital and social media campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Experience in optimizing ad, SEM, SEO, and social media campaigns
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing, SEM, SEO, social media and website deployment and analytics tools
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Bachelor's degree in education, business administration, or related area of study, or an equivalent combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and abilities can be acquired

Level Differentiators



Program Manager I:
  • Position is considered entry-level with up to two years of experience that includes experience with digital marketing, community management, SEM, SEO, social media campaigns and/or demand generation marketing

Program Manager II:
  • A minimum of 3 years of related experience which includes creating, analyzing, and reporting on digital marketing, community management, SEM, SEO, and social media campaigns
  • Experience in demand generation marketing

It's a plus if you have:
  • Google AdWords certified, proficient in Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager preferred
  • Experience with social media tools preferred (e.g., Hootsuite, Meltwater, Radian 6, Tableau, Canva)
  • Experience with SEO tools preferred (e.g., Screaming Frog, Moz)
