Program Manager-Social Impact 

In this role, you will have the chance to "set your mark" at Kohler Co. and in the wider world.  The Program Manager-Stewardship will grow relationships with Kohler's existing social impact partners, identify new ones that help broaden that impact, manage Stewardship grant programs that support Kohler's safe water and other social impact initiatives in communities globally, and quantify and report the impacts being delivered.

 

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

·       Manage Social Impact partner relationships

a.       Build deep relationships with representatives of Kohler's current external partners in Social Impact.  These include major non-profits such as World Vision, The Nature Conservancy, and Water Mission, as well as many smaller organizations.

b.       Create and maintain a CRM-type database of all organizations that includes key contacts, historical giving patterns, meetings, and other relevant connections between the organizations and Kohler

c.       Oversee the social impact partnership budget

d.       Grow new and existing relationships to best achieve Kohler's social impact strategies and goals

e.       Be the gatekeeper of partnership relations to streamline communication

f.        Engage with Kohler associates to become actively involved in these partnerships

g.       Lead annual partnership reviews that include summaries of impact, new funding requests, business opportunities, evaluation of existing goals, and recommendations for growth

h.       Collaborate with social impact business leaders to identify and vet new potential partners that will assist with driving strategies.

·       Coordinate Stewardship efforts in Kohler communities

a.       Manage Stewardship Global Grants Management Program that funds work in China, India, EMEA, Latin America, and North America where Kohler has operations.  

b.       Work alongside Kohler leadership to develop Community Action Plans that assist with achieving business goals such as talent acquisition, talent retention, community health and well-being, and employment brand

·       Manage Kohler's signature program - Safe Water for All

·       Collaborate with social impact and business leadership to develop and drive social impact strategic plan in support of UN Sustainable Development Goal #6 to provide safe water and proper sanitation for all

·       With the help of Kohler's Marketing and Communication teams, create and deliver marketing and communication plans that leverage social impact work to grow Kohler's brand value

·       Develop measurement systems consistent with those used in the global WaSH (water, sanitation, and hygiene) sector and academia to quantify impact

·       Visit global Kohler locations, attend and represent Kohler at key conferences, events, meetings, etc.

Skills/Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in business or related field required. Preference will be given to those with advanced degrees or training.

Skills & Competencies:  Strong analytical skills & organizational skills. Interaction with the public demands excellent communications skills and professional disposition. Strong computer skills required. Self-directed and able to prioritize and achieve results within deadlines. Conducts oneself and manages information in a confidential manner.

Must have global acumen and be comfortable traveling and interacting with individuals from different countries and cultures.

Previous work and interaction with global NGOs, government entities, social impact work preferred

Availability: Position is located in Kohler, WI.    Hybrid work/office available with occasional evening or weekends.   Global travel will be required.
