Job Description

Summary:

This role provides technical assistance to the operation's team to provide the necessary expertise to develop and support the various work management processes.
This position will support the various activities primarily in the production and water quality function; however, this position may support other activities in all other functional areas as needed.

Organizationally, this position will report to the Director of Engineering with a dotted line to the Production Superintendent


Nature & Scope-Principal Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Develops, with the support of engineering, operations and management, annual and medium term capital plans that achieve operational and business needs while adhering to company financial goals.
  • *Leads and manages sub-contractors including negotiations of sub-contract agreements; delivery of projects on time and within pre-established budgets. Support the oversight of field and contract personnel to ensure timely completion of assignments, within budget and adherence to standards.
  • *Provide technical expertise on engineering and operational issues and support facility condition assessments for the divisions operations.
  • *Works with the Engineering Dept. In the development/maintenance of company master plans, ensuring projects are aligned to Master Plans.
  • *Ensure corporate Technical and Environmental Health and Safety/Security standards are incorporated into the designs.
  • *Maintains relations and interacts with external entities, elected officials, and regulators to ensure compliance and accomplishment of company needs.

Qualifications

Essential Functions:

Ability to travel
Ability to serve on a 24-hour emergency callout duty on an as needed basis


Education/Equivalent:


* Bachelor's Degree in Environmental or Civil Engineering / PE Strongly Preferred.
