Thornton Tomasetti, Inc. seeks Project Engineer, Renewal in San Francisco, CA to coordinate project activities with clients, architects, developers, and owners. Requirements: Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering or a related field and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing experience working with historical structures and developing plans for seismic evaluation and retrofit design; designing and approving hospital and medical facilities under the jurisdiction of the California Health Care Access and Information (HCAi); designing and approving facilities under the jurisdiction of California Division of the State Architect (DSA), including seismic evaluation and retrofit design of historic structures using California Existing Building Code (CEBC) and American Society of Civil Engineers Committee 41 (ASCE 41) Tier 3 evaluation procedure; working with modern cross-platform software including AutoCAD Revit, SAP2000, ETABS, SAFE, Enercalc, and MathCAD to enable translation between multiple structural engineering related software; utilizing experience with structural emergency response, including the design of temporary stabilization using shoring, and planning of material sampling for subsequent testing and investigation. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. Offered salary is between $92,000 and $99,070 per year. 40 hours per week. Compensation
The rate for this position generally is$92,000-$99,070annually.This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the California Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful California applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in California or perform the position from California. Similar positions located outside of California will not necessarily receive the same compensation.Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted byCaliforniaEqual Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employee already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
