Project Manager-Heavy Civil Pay Range: $80-110K Annually

The Project Manager role is responsible for the overall project planning, scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting and controls. Will also be responsible for providing technical direction and assuring compliance with quality standards.

This position is required to perform the following functions:

  • Maintain overall responsibility for safety, quality, and cost of each project.
  • Manage all contract documents and administration.
  • Prepare and oversee all required submittals to Owners/General Contractors.
  • Provide hands on management of all subcontractors, manpower, equipment, material ordering and create and maintain project schedules.
  • Responsible for the development of submission of applications for payment, claims and project change order documentation.
  • Monitor project performance by using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Finalize vendor and subcontractor contracts.
  • Attend and participate in field job meetings and provide customer with any scheduling conflicts related to site work and various trades.
  • Oversee tasks to be completed by the Project Engineer.
Job Qualifications:

Skills and Experience

Required
  • Valid Driver's License and a clean driving record.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to plan and organize a team effort.
  • Effective time management and logistical decision-making ability
  • Possess a strong focus on Safety, Quality and Accountability.
  • Capable of handling multiple tasks and working well under pressure/deadlines.
  • Ability to read and fully understand construction drawings.
  • Proficiency in utilizing - MS Office, MS Project and/or other project management software.
Preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field of study
  • 5+ years of project management experience in site work, excavation, and underground utilities.
