About this role

The purpose of this position is to manage various types of projects as required including onboarding of new partners, projects which may include proposition development & evolution aligning to & supporting the partnership's goals and targets.

The successful candidate will apply agile and iterative project management methodologies to ensure projects and partner onboarding are delivered in a collaborative and adaptable way. You will work closely with the Product Managers and along with other Group colleagues to bring potential partnerships to fruition; manage the specific product activities to help move toward required technology architecture; and coordinate the subsequent delivery of technology, process, and organizational changes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for our partners.

Being able to adapt to all different sizes and types of organizations will be required as you help our partners navigate their way through all elements of new product launches, migrations, ideation and feasibility to name just a few of the things you can expect to get involved with

Role responsibilities

• Work together with the Product Managers to define the best approach and timelines to onboard new partners

• Work together with the Product Managers to define the best approach and timelines to help our partners grow and perform profitability

• Managing the client's/partner's relationships, as required

• Manage all aspects of the onboarding process, across a complex eco-system for partners using agile and iterative project management methodologies

• Working closely with all teams across Digital Partners to support execution of delivery primarily focusing on product and pricing, but with the ability to adapt where needed across all areas

• Use flexible project management tools to enable easy collaboration and communication between project stakeholders

• Working with other members of the delivery team and our technology colleagues to support architecture relevant to our partners and manage the specific product activities to help move toward the required architecture/ operating model

• Analyse and offer solutions to specific business problems to ensure business needs and requirements are met

• Coordinate delivery of process, and organizational changes to ensure a smooth onboarding experience for our partners

• Manage large scale strategic projects, requiring ownership of interaction with board members, internal teams, external vendors (legal, actuarial, consultants and brokers).

• Responsible for managing relationships with respective project teams and Senior Managers internally and within our partners

• Coordination and management of external parties including Claims TPA's, external fronting companies and parties across the clines Group

Essential skills & experience

• Managing projects with exposure to complex eco-systems

• Excellent & proven facilitation/co-ordination skills

• Ability to adapt communication methods and approaches to support the partner

• Successful in a team environment and engaging in the back and forth of creating entirely new products and business models

• Thrives when working in an environment where change is constant

• Excellent oral and written communication skills

• Ability to think outside of the box

• Resilience and drive to manage business change

Desirable skills & experience

• Some agile PM experience or experience working alongside PM's

Experience working within the insurance industry

Strong Insurance knowledge

• Experience working with IT stakeholders and/or Business Analysts

Experience of using agile tools e.g. JIRA/Confluence

Preferable qualifications for this role -

• Bachelor's Degree

CII Certificate in Insurance

• PMP or a desire to study towards this qualification
