Purchasing and Procurement Specialist

Purchasing and Procurement Specialist needed for a food science company in Charlotte. Temp to Perm. $19 - $21/hour

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Create and Prepare Purchase Order Requisitions if needed for the Procurement Department.
• Create Purchase Orders for Custom Cups.
• Create Purchase Orders in SAP System for PreGel Italy Container's from Packing List.
• Update & Maintain the Following Reports & Spreadsheets:
  • Raw Material Historical Pricing Spreadsheet along with notification to Procurement Manager &
    Procurement Agent as well Price Increases/Decreases.
  • On Demand/Discontinued Tracking Spreadsheet along with notification to Procurement Manager, Agent,
    Training Center, Sales & Marketing.
  • Special Order Tracking Report.
  • Custom Cup Order Tracking Report.
  • Update & Maintain SAP Product Transfers Spreadsheet.
  • Update & Maintain Incoming Report of PGI Items shipped and received.
• Reporting - run the following monthly reports:
  • Monthly Sales History
  • Inventory - Finished Goods & Services
  • Expired Inventory
• Maintain Standard Operating Procedures Binder.
• Escort Shred Vendors through Facility.
• Other Duties as Required by the Procurement Manager.

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to look at situations from several points of view.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excels at operating in a fast paced, community environment
• High comfort level working in a diverse environment
