The salary range for this position is $75k - $95k based on experience.

A Day in The Life

We're looking for a QA Engineer to help us continue to improve our technology portfolio. You'll be working directly with software developers, product owners and stakeholders to ensure high quality application delivery. Additionally, as a key member of the Software Engineering team, this role will be responsible for a broad range of activities including:
  • Determine the total breadth and depth of testing required for a given feature when developing test cases
  • Perform testing activities including functional, regression, and performance testing
  • Design, develop, and maintain test cases
  • Review test results and properly evaluate the stability of the software being tested
  • Set up test environments with the necessary test data and execute detailed test procedures and test cases for assigned products or product modules
  • Analyze and report test results to product teams
  • Log defects and track them to resolution
  • Package and support deployment of builds and releases
  • Work effectively with Developers, Product Management, Operations, and other teams as needed
Necessary Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, individuals must be able to perform each duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Skills/Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience testing software
  • Ability to operate independently and cross-functionally
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills
  • Demonstrated critical attention to detail and deadlines and are self-motivated
  • Ability to multi-task
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience is preferred
  • Experience with PostMan
  • Experience with Selenium
  • Experience with JIRA
  • Experience with Azure DevOps, BitBucket or similar
  • Experience working in a start-up environment
