Job Responsibilities
 
Pennoni is currently seeking full-time and part-time Quality Assurance Inspectors, for off-site fabrication shops located in Eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and DELMARVA region producing bridge and highway products for transportation agencies.
 
Required experience is consistent with, but not limited to:

• Inspection of welding, steel fabrication, coatings, expansion joints, bridge bearings, sign structures, bridge beams, drainage structures, and other materials
• Monitoring work for compliance with approved shop drawings, standards, and specifications
• Communicating and meeting with fabricators, clients, and engineers
• Production of daily written shop reports

 
Required Attributes

• Minimum Education: High School
• Minimum Years of experience: 4-7
• Experience performing QA/QC of bridge fabrication
• Computer Skills: Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office applications
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Dependability, honesty, and integrity
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must be able to work well independently and with others
• Need reliable transportation

 
Preferred Attributes

• Any/all of the following certifications:
  
  • AWS Certified Welding Inspector Certification
    • Working knowledge of AWS D1.5
  • NACE or SSPC Certification
  • NDE/NDT Certification
