Position Summary:
Performs professional duties involved in a variety of technical procedures to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis. Under the limited direction of the radiologist; supervision of the administrative director of radiology; and the direct supervision of the manager of radiology. Has latitude for independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative. Assists physicians as requested in a selection of practical applications and technical factors. Innovations improve work procedures and methods and primarily result in some time and cost savings. The job duties are to provide excellent patient care, diagnostic quality imaging, and professional interactions while supporting the needs of the department.
Education:
Must be a licensed radiologic technologist from an ARRT-accredited program.
