We are looking for a candidate to work closely with and support Fairfield's transaction coordinators and attorneys responsible for coordinating acquisitions, financings and development transactions. This position is designed for someone who wants to be trained in commercial real estate transaction processes, due diligence and closings. There is ample opportunity for career growth within the position, department and Company.

Role:

  • Generally assists transaction coordinators with acquisition and financing processes for large multifamily properties, including by coordinating communications with many internal associates and external consultants during due diligence phase, reviewing due diligence reports, coordinating with lenders and escrow/title officers, and otherwise preparing for closings
  • Follows-up on delegated assignments (both internally and externally) and tracks to completion
  • Coordinates execution and delivery of closing documents and other contracts
  • Works closely with and supports department members, including preparing documents for signature and mailing/filing/printing/scanning
  • Becomes familiar with Fairfield's information storage system and fulfils requests to obtain stored information
  • Notary (or willingness to obtain notary certificate at Fairfield's expense)

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3+ years corporate experience, preferably in the Real Estate industry
  • Ability to remain poised/focused and thrive in fast-paced, high volume environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to focus on details and produce high-quality work product under tight deadlines
  • Ability to adapt and reprioritize tasks in a changing environment

  • Desire/willingness to take-on new and changing duties/tasks over time
