About the Role

We are looking for an accounting professional with 2-4 years of experience for the position of Reinsurance Accounting Analyst; the position will be based out of our headquarters located in Warren, NJ on a hybrid schedule (3 days in office/2 days remote).

Role & Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

  • Monitoring and being responsible for clients (Assumed Reinsurance). Some of these responsibilities include but not limited to processing cash, monitoring of the accounts receivable/payable ledger, billings, and handling of all correspondences.
  • Reporting requirements to Management, General Ledger accruals, various collection issues/workflows.
  • This position requires working closely with the underwriters and Claim department, and from time-to-time, working with Comptrollers, and others throughout the company.
  • Upload of cash receipts file daily from multiple bank statements to Reinsurance system.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Interest and desire to grow within a Comptrollers environment.
  • Microsoft Excel skills a must.
  • Good quantitative skills are needed, as well as an understanding of the basics of accounting.
  • Candidates must be flexible to working in a fast-paced work environment.
