REMOTE Senior Backend Engineer - Node, Microservices, PHP, CICD There are millions of awesome spaces across the country that are sitting idle (i.e. pools, saunas, home gyms, creative studios, etc). Due to this rapid growth, we have an immediate need for a REMOTE Senior Backend Engineer - Node, Microservices, PHP, CICD to play a key role in scaling our backend code and oversee cloud infrastructure and DevOps for a consumer-facing platform reaching millions of users. You will work directly with the founders and executive team with lots of autonomy and tons of room for growth!!

What You Will Be Doing - Build complex web & mobile applications that deliver joy & delight to millions of users
- Work with a small team of engineers & designers to ship impactful product features
- Mentor, educate & support the engineers you work with daily
- Work closely with product, design & engineering to understand product requirements, evaluate tradeoffs & ship solutions that deliver value to customers
- Help make our team better & continue to professionally grow - contributing to code reviews, documentation & promoting best practices
What You Need for this Position You Have:
- 5+ years professional software engineering experience
- Experience writing well-tested, clean code & building CI/CD pipelines to deliver solutions
- Experience with one or more Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Mastery of modern technical stacks.
- Youre fluent with Git & modern agile methodologies
- Have intermediate/expert level knowledge & experience with Node, GraphQL, Microservices, AWS, Kubernetes &Terraform or similar technologies.

Bonus:
- Have expert knowledge & experience with PHP, Laravel, React, AWS, Kubernetes and/or Terraform.
- Experience with migrating large amounts of data with changing infrastructure.
- Have SRE, DevOps, & Cloud Infrastructure experience supporting platforms with volatile loads and millions of users.
- Have experience building data pipelines, data lakes, data warehouses, or analytics suites to deliver business insights & learnings by leveraging behavioral data in products.
- Have extensive systems architecture design & software design patterns experience as exhibited by existing applications and/or design documents.
- Have demonstrated experience in decomposing complex business problems & leading teams who have delivered technical solutions at scale successfully.
