RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Remote Sr. Web Developer (Angular/Front End) in San Diego, California (CA). This person will design, program, and support the organization's websites and applications.Responsibilities include:- May provide guidance and training to junior web development and design staff
- Collaborates across departments to identify and understand new website and application development needs
- Remote Sr. Web Developer plans, executes, and facilitates website and application development projects in accordance with specifications, budget, and timeline
- Develops and oversees implementation of websites and applications, coordinates site and application functionality
- Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves site and application issues; Recommends and implements preventive measures to avoid future problems
- Remote Sr. Web Developer collaborates with security and compliance employees to ensure site security
- Provides on-call support to support service level agreements
- Maintains knowledge of emerging technology and best practices in website and application design and development
- Performs other related duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS:
- Technical certifications, certificate programs, and/or higher-level training are highly desired
- 7+ years of development experience building websites and enterprise web applications required
- 5+ years of UI/Front end experience with modern frameworks
- Experience with developing at least one enterprise web front end application
- Experience with Visual Studio and/or Visual Code
- Excellent time management skills with the proven ability to work on multiple projects and stay within scope, schedule, cost, and quality specifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and other related software
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate technical concepts in an understandable and concise way
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds at times
- Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Angular and Typescript highly desired
- Experience with C# or VB.NET is a plus
- Experience with Microsoft DevOps is a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
