The Renewal Manager is responsible for a team of renewal specialist dedicated to the renewal of SaaS and maintenance contracts covering all global customers. The renewal manager monitors, measures and forecasts the progress of the team against targets and performance goals weekly. The renewal manager engages in assisting their team in difficult negotiations and ensures roadblocks to timely renewal are removed. The renewal manager owns the integrity of subscription, maintenance and term data in Salesforce and reports prepares monthly reports to the executive level.

Essential Duties:

  • Own, drive and lead the renewal process in collaboration with customer success, account management, and billing team
  • Engage with key decision makers to identify customer requirements and remove road blockers to ensure on-time renewal
  • Maintain and report accurate 90 day forecast of renewals
  • Coach and manage a team of renewal specialists, focusing them on enhancing their metrics
  • Analyze renewal data and suggest and execute strategies to enhance overall renewal rate of the business
  • Collaborate with revenue operations, finance and other departments to maintain the integrity of renewal data in systems
  • Build streamlined processes to increase the efficiency and productivity of the renewal team through tools & automation to align with the overall Go to Market strategy
  • Execute mass renewal contract amendment strategies and assist with difficult negotiations.
