Safety Analyst (EP2903)

We are urgently seeking a Safety Analyst with Construction or Heavy Machinery industry experience. The ideal candidate will be able to identify and report on any safety or compliance issues at job sites locally and in NV.

Job Location: Upland, CA; local travel and sometimes travel to NV

Pay Range: 70K-75K+; DOE

Responsibilities:

• Observe and monitor operations and job sites for regulatory compliance.
• Ensure adherence to all company safety policies, PPE guidelines, practices and procedures.
• Perform field safety observations, and report all violations to ensure prompt corrective action.
• Mentor field personnel in Safety & Health and environmental issues that may occur in the field.
• Periodic and unscheduled facility and field inspections, identify deficiencies and hazards and work toward resolution.
• Ensure JTSA's JSO's DVIR's Gate Checks and vehicle inspections are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform / Assist in field accident/incident investigations to arrive at incident root cause.
• Provide Calibration of company owned Gas Monitors as required.
• Change out Dielectric Equipment as directed.
• Inspect, repair and maintain, lifting devices as required.
• Participate in the update and development of training material and methods as needed.
• Additional safety tasks as needed.

Requirements:

• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• 2+ years of safety related experience in construction or heavy equipment industries
• OSHA safety certification(s) preferred (not required)
• Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening as required.
• Must be able to successfully complete all company required training.
• May be required to work flexible hours, weekends and on-call duties as needed.
• May include night and holiday shifts on occasion.
• May include overnight travel on occasion.
