HORIBA Semiconductor's proprietary analysis technology is fully demonstrated in a wide range of fields - semiconductors, medicine, environment, science and engine measurements. In high-tech industries like semiconductor manufacturing, HORIBA provides an extensive selection of process monitors for integration into manufacturing lines that aid the safe production of high performance devices.

HORIBA Instruments' North American Semiconductor group is searching for Sales Administrators to join our Sales Team in Portland, OR and Phoenix, AZ metro area.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Initiates and coordinates correspondence related to lead times, quotes, proposals, non-disclosures and other reports for sales team
  • Responds to / coordinates customer inquiries regarding company products and services, pricing and availability
  • Assists with lead analysis, account management, sales forecasting, price/discount management, and business reporting using Salesforce
  • Manages new and existing contracts relating to the location facility management.
  • Coordinate travel, conference room set up, and meals when necessary for executives and company visitors/ customers.
  • Work with staff to coordinate projects, scheduling, product-related time and expense tracking using various tools such as MS Excel, MS Project, and SAP.
  • Assists with yearly departmental budgeting tasks, compiling monthly spend reports, capital asset tracking with help from finance dept.
  • Answers telephones; assists callers and relays messages; may serve as receptionist. Opens and distributes mail/faxes. Greet office visitors.
  • Monitors open orders and supports sales activities related to expedite requests, order tracking, inventory availability / usage and consignment using Excel and SAP
  • Coordinates / Organizes Sales Training and Sales Meetings
  • Supports global logistics / demand forecast for target accounts


  • Skills and Knowledge:
  • Outstanding customer service, to include both verbal and written communication skills, and impeccable attention to detail.
  • Excellent computer skills including SAP and MS Office Suite.
  • Minimum of two years' related experience preferably in in high technology manufacturing or engineering/research environment.
  • AS/BS degree in technical or scientific discipline preferred.
