Right now our Outlet Store in Tacoma, WA store is seeking a Full Time Salvage Baler!
Salary: $15.74 Per Hour
Position Summary: The Baler loads and operates either a vertical or horizontal baling machines (with hopper and conveyer belt) with textiles, cardboard, paper and recycle plastic as a member of our Salvage team.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The Salvage Baler responsibilities include the following and other duties as assigned:
- Safe operation of the baler machines
- Material is processed, compacted, strapped and ejected onto a forklift for further transport
- HTP-41 Containers are inspected and sorted according to condition
Maintain a Safe Work Environment- Keep the salvage area clean, and organized.
Follow Safety Protocols- Ensuring that all safety rules are strictly followed to prevent injury with the use of pneumatic machines.
Team Player- Ability to work as an effective part of a team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner.

RequirementsQualifications/Basic Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
- Attend every schedule shift
- Has a positive attitude
- Demonstrate cultural competence; specifically, awareness, attitude, knowledge, willingness and skills to work effectively with a culturally and demographically diverse population
- Exceptional analytical, judgment, decision-making and communications skills
- Superior coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build understanding and concensus

Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, hear and type. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 45 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
Work Environment: The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
