Better Future Farms, Inc. (BFF) is a leading greenhouse company in the Controlled Environment Agriculture (CEA) industry. We are dedicated to sustainable and innovative agriculture practices to produce high-quality, locally-grown products all year round. We are currently seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker to join our team.

In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our greenhouse facility. You will play a vital role in ensuring that all areas of the facility, including equipment, surfaces, and production areas, are properly cleaned and sanitized to meet food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow sanitation procedures to clean and disinfect equipment, surfaces, and production areas
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards (SQF/HACCP)
• Handle and store cleaning chemicals properly
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies
• Perform routine inspections to identify sanitation issues and report them to the appropriate personnel
• Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required
• Assist with other duties as assigned

• Prior experience in a sanitation or janitorial role preferred
• Knowledge of sanitation practices and food safety regulations
• Ability to follow instructions and work independently
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing, bending, and lifting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
• Basic knowledge of using cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
• Ability to work afternoon/evening shift
