Overview
Snap-on is seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and creative Script Writer to join our Conway Team. Our ideal candidate is a team-spirited, skilled, and imaginative writer with an eye for detail and understanding of the audience. Responsible for writing creative and concise copy for video, web, and marketing ads to support the efforts of the marketing team. Their duties include collaborating with team members to research and develop engaging copy that enhances brand standards and product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Support video and website development
- Must be able to write persuasively, clearly, and creatively with attention to detail.
- Support the marketing department's initiatives with the planning, executing, and development of marketing content for events, video, social media, & web
- Assist in the development and implementation of video concepts
- Responsible for coordinating and executing creative copy for video production.
- Responsible for creating/updating website copy for new and existing products
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in video production, marketing, advertising, or communications
- Past work experience as a Script Writer or similar role. Automotive or technology service background a plus
- Knowledge of video production and on-set etiquette
- Detailed Oriented
- Excellent writing, and verbal communication skills along with presentation skills
- Experience in Celtx or other script writing/story boarding software
- Works well with challenging tasks and deadlines
- Advanced Experience in full Microsoft Office suite
- Must be proactive and display a high level of initiative
- Critical thinker with a strong problem-solving skills
- Must submit a Demo Reel and examples of previous work.
