Based in beautiful Menlo Park, CA, we are a a driven energy company with a vision of an affordable, reliable, and net-zero carbon grid of the future. Due to the recent growth and demand for our products and services, we are in need of a Senior Controls Engineer.
What You Will Be Doing You will be responsible for modeling and identifying the dynamics of our systems, designing and appropriate controller, and then implementing it on hardware. You will have significant influence over our architecture and will be responsible for creating models, identifying system dynamics, designing and simulating control algorithms, implementing the designs, and testing the hardware.
What You Need for this Position Must Have :
- 5+ years experience working with control algorithms on embedded systems in with software
- 5+ years experience writing code with C++ (17 preferred)
- 5 + years experience working with sensors, actuators, and other components of a complex control system

Nice to have :
- specific experience with generators or engines
