BGIS is currently seeking aSenior Financial Analystto join the team in Remote, US.

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for the preparation of corporate annual budgeting, multi-department budgeting and the business plan process. The Senior Financial Analyst demonstrates BGIS values in communications with clients and team members.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Financial Planning

  • Develop the organization's finance policies.
  • Prepare the design and development of enterprise-wide technology enabled business intelligence capabilities.
  • Conduct special studies and prepares the statistical results.
  • Solve problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of complex factors.
  • Build complex financial models, draft comprehensive budgets and assist in financial deal analysis and negotiations.
  • Create and generate clear and concise reports utilizing Business Objects.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of new reporting tools and administers those tools going forward.
  • Complete monthly variance and outlook analysis.
  • Model possible financial outcomes and optimize their solutions.
  • Contribute to the completion of other key initiatives as assigned.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting or related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Five years of experience in financial analysis and data mining, data analysis and data modeling techniques.
  • Knowledge of both quantitative and qualitative data collection, metrics, and analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to provide context to data.
  • Problem Solving ability to research and resolve discrepancies.
  • Time Management to prioritize and meet multiple deadlines.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Visio.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint preferred.
  • Prior Business Intelligence development and design is preferred.
  • Experience with SQL databases, IBM AS400 systems and DB2 database is preferred.
  • Knowledge in developing reports from scratch using Business Objects or Crystal Reports preferred.

BGIS is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. BGIS has different pay ranges for different work locations within the United States which allows us to pay team members competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate's primary work location.

The salary range for this non-exempt position in the US is $38.46- $43.26

A candidate's salary offer is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, certifications, licenses, and location.
