Provide day-to-day management of SAP technical team members and technical consultants. Act as a key liaison between the technical team, SAP functional teams, and business process owners. Facilitate clear cross-team communication about, and understanding of, business and functional design requirements. Organize and lead the processes of technical change control within the SAP space as well as continuous-improvement initiatives as identified by key stakeholders. Actively participate in architectural reviews and promote adoption of SAP best practices.

You will have the opportunity to :

• Work with business process owners and key stakeholders to identify priority work requests and to understand the requirements at a high level. Understand and document the corresponding business drivers and communicate these priorities and business drivers to the SAP functional teams.
• Manage the system development life cycle related to production support and continuous-improvement work requests across both SAP technical and functional sub-teams. Review system change requests (transports) for compliance with S-Ox testing standards.
• Lead the consultation process, by which the technical team provides deliverables to the SAP functional teams in the form of production support troubleshooting and technical-design advice. Includes both individual contribution and leveraging technical-team resources.
• Manage the ABAP development process, including both onshore and offshore developers. Set appropriate standards and procedures for development activities.
• Provide technical subject matter expertise related to ITAR and DFARS security requirements, including design and testing of related controls, and cleansing of non-productive systems.
  

• BS/BA Degree in Information Systems or related field, MBA preferred
• 10+ years of SAP experience, including 7+ years of technical development/ABAP experience required.
• 5+ years of functional analyst/configuration experience, preferred.
• Deep understanding of SAP architecture and business processes in at least one functional area. Ability to facilitate clear communication and to troubleshoot collaboratively in a complex environment. Firm understanding of the system development life cycle.
• Deep understanding of SAP architecture and business processes in multiple functional areas. Experience in SAP ABAP development and/or another development discipline. Ability to facilitate clear communication and to troubleshoot collaboratively in a complex environment. Firm understanding of the system development life cycle preferred.
