About this role:

CyberArk is seeking a full-time Senior Counsel to primarily support commercial transactions for our Americas business and our US Federal go-to-market activities, negotiate with leading global enterprises, and work independently with senior management, sales executives and other departments within the company. This person may also support other areas of the business and will have the opportunity to assist with projects as needed. This position will report to CyberArk's VP Legal, Global Go-to-Market and may require some domestic and international travel.

What you will do:

  • Manage and negotiate multi-jurisdictional sales transactions for the Americas commercial business: SaaS, software licensing, services, resale and distribution, and related agreements such as privacy and data security
  • Support US Federal go-to-market activities: negotiate flow down documents, assist with certification efforts such as FedRAMP and Common Criteria, and enable compliance with the FAR/DFARS and other relevant statutes, regulations, and rules
  • Support various departments throughout the organization, such as marketing, customer success, and product management
  • Provide guidance and support with global compliance activities and subsidiary governance based on direct areas of responsibility
  • Manage and negotiate vendor agreements and support procurement processes

What you need to succeed:
  • J.D. from an accredited law school and a member in good standing of a U.S. state bar
  • 7+ years as a licensed attorney, at least 5 years of which were practicing commercial law in-house, preferably at a global company negotiating technology transactions, including SaaS
  • Extensive experience with Federal contracting and compliance; experience with Federal certifications an advantage
  • Creative and pragmatic thinker, who can provide excellent service to clients, think proactively and strategically, and establish a "trusted advisor" relationship with internal stakeholders
  • Strong interpersonal skills, team player
  • Business-oriented mindset with a focus on consistently delivering on commitments
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, motivated self-starter

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $185,000/year, plus commissions or discretionary bonus, which will be based on the employee's performance. Base pay may also vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical, dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
