Senior Manager, Talent, Learning and Development

As Senior Manager of Talent, Learning & Culture, you lead Learning and Development, Talent Management, and play an integral role in Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. In this newly-created role, you enable organizational performance & business growth through your strategic leadership and execution.

You Will Focus On Three Key Areas:


  • Lead and execute talent planning, including development of tools and processes
  • Manage the annual Organization and Talent Review
  • Create leadership development initiatives to meet talent development needs.
  • Build Talent Management Operations, including measurement, KPI's and dashboards
  • Assess learning needs and deploy strategies and solutions to foster talent development, from apprentice programs to executive development
  • Lead a "One Materion" approach to onboarding with a focus on learning.
  • Deploy and manage Workday's Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Support Diversity & Inclusion (D & I) initiatives to help foster a culture of learning and inclusion.
  • Develop and support change leadership capability.
  • Support organizational effectiveness strategies and initiatives, including surveys.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Behavior or related field. Master's degree is preferred
  • 10+ yrs of leadership in Talent Management and Learning; 3+ yrs of HR Business Partnership experience. Diversity experience is preferred
  • Experience in high-growth settings or start-ups, with manufacturing and large-scale organizational transformation experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, matrixed global environment.
  • Certifications in MBTI, DISC, Hogan and/or other assessment tools
  • Experience coaching and assisting leaders in leading change
  • Strong understanding/ application of organizational change and process excellence
  • Applied knowledge of talent management, leadership development, learning principles and measurement of learning outcomes
  • Outstanding consulting, interpersonal and analytical skills
  • Process, project management, computer and data manipulation skills; able to synthesize data, develop insights, and create effective strategies and narratives
  • Leadership presence and ability to influence and inspire senior leaders and employees at all levels of the organization
