Job Description

Position Summary: The Senior Oracle HCM Cloud Specialist provides expertise in the support and maintenance of Oracle HCM Cloud modules. Experience in product personalization, integration, data conversion, report creation/maintenance, and configuration is required. Experience in project management is also a requirement of this position.

A successful candidate in this role should have expertise in Oracle HCM Cloud advanced tools such as HCM Extracts, HDL, OIC, BI Publisher, Application Security, Fast Formula, Work Flow, Page Composer, Page Configurator, REST APIs, SOAP, and Web services.

Payroll Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Business Analysts and HR Business teams to gather requirements for reports, interfaces, extensions, integrations, or any other functional changes
  • Develop functional and technical design and documentation for Oracle Applications dependent data conversions, interfaces, custom reporting, and custom applications.
  • Participate in the design, development, and maintenance of Conversions, Modifications/ Customizations, and Interfaces to/ from Oracle HCM Cloud
  • Open, manage and resolve Oracle Service Requests with Oracle Support
  • Support and maintain Oracle Patches and Upgrades
  • Drive the resolution & troubleshooting of issues during development and post-production support.
  • Design, Document, and Perform Unit Testing to validate product functionality

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess:
  • 5+ years working on Oracle HCM Cloud Applications components
  • Have experience in Project management, Oracles OIC, Benefit Open Enrollment, and Payroll Year End is a plus
  • Good technical leadership capability and follow-up skills, monitoring and status updates to Project Manager
  • Demonstrated strong analytical abilities
  • Willing to learn a range of business or technical and functional specialties based on business needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner
  • Expertise in reports development, interface development, troubleshooting, Application security roles, and Workflow Approvals is mandatory
  • Should have contributed to the end-to-end implementation in at least a few of the modules: Core HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Talent, OTL, Digital Assistant, Help Desk

Additional Information

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm, with the possibility of some overtime. This position would be remote/hybrid as needed.
